Sant'Angelo Muxaro cave
Better known locally as the Grotta (of the) Ciavule because of the large colony of jackdaws (ciaule in Sicilian) who frequent the cave. It is a Karst complex with a total length of approximately 1200 meters.
The cave is divided into two branches.
Along the way, in addition to admiring the splendid chalky crystallizations and interesting shapes, you can see the interesting fireplaces and small rooms that are in a state of collapse. The cave terminates at a small lake.
